Stuller Inc and Gemvision launch the ultimate design tool at IJL 2013

Stuller and Gemvision Europe will stage the world debut of their pioneering CounterSketch Studio 4.0 design software at IJL (International Jewellery London), 1-4 September 2013.

CounterSketch Studio 4.0 is an extensive update to the existing 3D jewellery design software.

Launched in 2009, CounterSketch Studio is a creative software programme with full 3D capabilities, including features that allow a jeweller to interact with customers to design a piece of jewellery in real-time, using the showroom floor computer.

“Whether a jeweller is altering an existing design or conceptualising a design from scratch, this programme has everything needed to create bridal, fashion, remounts, even earrings and pendants,” says Jeff High, president of Gemvision and chief innovation officer for Stuller.

“With the new Freehand mode you gain creative freedom without sacrificing speed and ease of use.  Retailers can rely on the trusted manufacturing of Stuller to deliver the dream piece in fourteen business days.”

Enhanced features include:

“Offering your customer an opportunity to truly be a part of the design process is an unforgettable experience for them,” says Stuller founder and chairman, Matt Stuller.

Highlights on Gemvision’s stand H111 will include live demonstrations and a chance for retailers to design their own jewellery using the latest version design software.

The award winning CounterSketch Studio software helps independent retailers capitalise on the trend for personalised jewellery – an easy-to-use bespoke design service in store, allowing retailers to expand their product range without the overheads.

“CounterSketch Studio makes it easy for customers to design their own uniquely personalised jewellery crafted by Stuller.  Each one of over 2,300 base models – ladies and men’s rings, wedding bands and pendants - can be modified in 3D to customer preference with an intuitive set of controls, creating an infinite number of possible customised designs,” added Gemvision’s Graham Dicks.

With facilities in the UK, the United States and a global network of authorised dealers, Gemvision brings jewellers and technology together with innovative Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) products.
